A few things…

I’m a middle child. The kind that is usually quiet. But if I have to, I will speak up.

I am the right-brained creative type… but I also found my accounting class in college to be incredibly soothing. All those numbers lined up perfectly. Sigh.

I pursued photography and design as my career for the past 20 years because it was a somewhat-easy, slightly-dependable way for an artist to earn a living. And it was great. But I knew I was made for something else… something a little more risky. So at the end of 2019, I closed the proverbial door to my photography/design career. Now, Brown Studios is an illustration studio, where I write, draw, paint, and create.
